Karl Floersch and Ben Jones from the Optimism team join the podcast to discuss their research and plans around optimistic rollups, a scaling solution for Ethereum. They break down and explain what optimistic rollups are and how they can improve the Ethereum experience. They recently announced the OVM which allows application developers to easily port over their smart contracts from the EVM chain to the OVM chain.
